Organizers announced Friday that a fireworks show is planned on Boston Common and the Boston Pops will perform from Tanglewood in western Massachusetts on the night of July 4th. Among the participating groups in this years parade are the Greater Boston Chinese Cultural Association (GBCCA), the New Magnolia Jazz Band, the Puppeteers Cooperative, the Hot Tamales Brass Band, and the Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts.
